Dear Lea, thank you for your kind comment. I am so, so happy you are close with Our Father, and despite the pain and your struggles, you are trying your best to follow Him.
I know how bad we can feel, how unworthy and ashamed this specific pain can make us, however, we can have deep trust and solace in knowing that Jesus suffered much for us, loves us infinitely and is willing to protect us more than anyone in our lives could do.

I never had a father growing up. I love my father in heaven and the closer I walk with him, the better I feel. I was missing this part and have to admit I was feeling ashamed and undeserving. Dear Maureen, my heart aches for you. I broke my first engagement a few months away from my wedding and it was absolutely horrible so I can imagine how painful it must be for you right now.
Sometimes what we desire with all our heart is not what God has in mind for us, as sad as it can sound.
What do you think is causing this rift in your current relationship? Maybe it is something you can mend with the help of a counselor, or a priest/pastor?

Hi Marija,
I am so happy and honoured it gave you a bit more peace at least. It can be hard to see God as a not-absent father figure, but in these moments of clarity when you can feel Him with you, like a Father watching over His precious little girl… Well, it makes life worth living.
The right person won’t leave you ever, and even better, God will not either.
