Luckily he wasn’t sentenced to death. Misinformation from powerful enemies and then putting the blame on the church.
Both Joan and Galileo were brave and devoted people. That’s a shame what we are taught.

I know! 🙁 It’s almost certain the English/Burgundian party were set on Joan of Arc’s death the moment they caught her during the Siege of Compiègne on 23 May 1430—over 1 year before her being burned at the stake.
